Gewürze Lodner Inca Peruvian Sun Salt

This salt comes from Peru. It is brought up from the depths of the earth in the Andes,through natural spring water. At a 3,500 meter altitude, this salt passes into a terraced pool close to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Machu Pichu. Dried out by the sun, it can only be harvested in the sunny warm months. This pure spring water salt has been produced for around 2000 years according to the old Inca tradition on the high plains of the Peruvian Andes.

Use as table salt and finishing salt. Especially suitable for grilled fish, vegetables, antipasti, cottage cheese and yogurt dishes.
