Description
The sweet and malty taste of carob is similar to fine caramel making it a great substitute for cocoa. Carob naturally contains sugar, calcium and fibre but contains no stimulants such as caffeine or theobromine. Furthermore, it is low in fat. Use it for baking or making delicious drinks.
Note: Carob is obtained from the pods of the carob tree. The pods are separated from the seeds and ground into a fine powder. This product is made in Italy.
