The "caviar" among the pepper varieties by Spice for Life! Its intense aroma with a fine note of nuts and a strong spiciness in the finish is perfect for refining fish, meat, vegetables and soups. Immediately after harvesting, the pepper berries are fermented with salt and dried several times. The aromatic oils, which provide the extraordinarily intense taste, are completely preserved - as if freshly harvested!

The pepper itself remains soft and can be eaten without being crushed. Due to its high residual moisture, it is unsuitable for grinding in a mill. You can either use the whole pepper sticks or roughly crush them in a mortar. Add it to your dishes only at the end of the cooking process to enjoy its delicious aromas. The fine aromas disappear when cooked.
