Südzucker Brown Sugar

German packaging: Brauner Zucker

This sugar is made by crystalising brown sugar syrup. It has a wonderful caramel-like flavour and is wonderful for baking festive treats like gingerbread, speculoos biscuits or fruitcake. The strong flavour of the sugar makes it fabulous in cocktails, hot drinks, fruit salads and creamy desserts.

Tip: the sugar can be finely ground and used as a decoration. It is also wonderful in pancakes, bread or other baked goods.
