Description
Aptamil HA 2 Follow-on Formula is suitable for babies from the 7th month onwards. In addition to the age-appropriate formulation with essential vitamins and nutrients, the Follow-on Formula also contains hydrolysed protein (i.e., protein that is broken into smaller parts), Bifidus breve bacteria, omega-3 (DHA) and omega-6 (ARA) fatty acids as well as a special combination of fibre.
Dosage: Note that the number of bottles per day and the amount at each meal are guidelines only and can vary depending on your child's needs. Please refer to the dosage chart below for the mixing ratio of powder to water. Always use the enclosed measuring scoop to measure out the powder. 1 measuring scoop = 4.8 g Aptamil HA 2.

Babies need about 5 meals a day at this age. Gradually replace each bottle feed with a solid meal.
Preparation: Please use the correct mixing ratio and follow the instructions for storage and preparation. Incorrect preparation and storage can result in the growth of harmful germs. Prepare every meal fresh. Do not reuse leftovers. Always clean your baby's bottle, teat and ring thoroughly before use. Prepared follow-on formula should not be heated in the microwave (risk of scalding).
Please note:
- Aptamil HA 2 can be given as part of a mixed diet from the 7th month onwards and should not be given as a substitute for breast milk in the first 6 months.
- However, your child's individual pace of growth and development needs might make it necessary to integrate follow-on formula into the diet at an earlier stage. Please consult your paediatrician.
- If your baby has been diagnosed with an allergy to cow's milk protein or is suspected of having it, please consult a paediatrician to discuss your baby's diet. HA 2 is not a suitable follow-on formula if this is the case.
