Description
The Umeboshi paste by Arche is made from carefully selected apricots that are first fermented with lactic acid bacteria. This Japanese speciality, known as umeboshi apricots, is then finely pureed.
Umeboshi apricots are a real treat and add a wonderful flavour to dishes with their fruity-sweet-sour-salty taste. They go particularly well in sweet and sour stir-fries or fruity salads.
The umeboshi paste can be used in the same way as the apricots, but is easier to mix. The pureed consistency is also ideal for sauces, dips and dressings.
