Bienenhof Klaindl Beeswax Bread Bag

This extremely environmentally friendly bag is ideal for storing bread, fruit or vegetables. You can also store cheese and sausage in the bag as it is made of organic cotton and organic beeswax. The beeswax ideally protects your bread and food from mould. You can use the bag over and over again.

With good care and normal dry storage (in the pantry or in a cool room), you can use the bread bag for up to 3 years. Once you no longer wish to use the food bag for storage, you can use it as kindling for your oven or an open fire or grill. In addition, it is also compostable.

Care Instructions:

• If necessary, clean the bag with lukewarm water. If the bag is very dirty, you can use a neutral ph soap to clean it. If you turn the edge of the basket inside out, you can use the bread bag as a nice bread basket for your table.

Information about the Kaindl Bee Farm:

After taking over the family farm, the Kaindl family noticed that despite planting all the shrubs, flowers and trees, there were hardly any bees around. This meant that they only had a very small honey harvest. They decided to help nature out by starting to keep bees themselves, starting two beehives. In doing so they discovered their passion for bee keeping and producing bee products, as well as the value of their hard-working little bee helpers.
