Description

This rock salt comes from the Catalan hinterland where it was formed more than 40 million years ago. Stored in underground salt domes, it has always been well protected from dirt and external environmental influences.
It has a naturally high content of potassium which results in a sodium reduction of 25 to 40% compared to regular table salt.
Due to valuable additional minerals such as iron oxide, this salt appears slightly pink. Its pleasantly salty taste contains no bitter nuances, baking it ideal for seasoning and cooking.
