Description
Beluga lentils are particularly aromatic and retain their bite when cooked correctly. They are especially delicious in a salad, in stews or as a fine side dish - even people who don't usually like lentils love the taste of beluga lentils! Their nutty taste is reminiscent of chestnuts and go very well with oriental spices and creamy textures.
Preparation: As a side dish for two people, boil about 150 g Beluga lentils in double the amount of water - no need to pre-soak - and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Do not add salt until the end of the cooking time!
Store in a cool and dry place.
