Water Buffalo Salami

  • Domaines Kilger's salamis are cold-smoked at temperatures below 20 ° C and are air-dried. The salami matures for about 8 weeks before it is packaged.
  • The sausages are made in Eibiswald, Austria.

Water buffalo are related to bison, but live in rivers, marshes and swamp regions. The meat is very flavourful and tastes a bit like wild game. The meat is very lean and is rich in healthy unsaturated fatty acids. It is a great alternative to classic beef or bison meat. The water buffalos are raised on 27 square kilometres of land on the Domaines Kilger farm in Transylvania.
