Description

This baking ingredient is a tried-and-tested alternative for light, airy doughs. Its secret lies in the natural acidulant: the tartaric acid it contains comes directly from the traditional production of wine or sparkling wine. Combined with bicarbonate of soda, the powder develops strong raising power in the mixing bowl. Sponge cakes, biscuits and breads rise evenly and develop a fine, even crumb once baked.
