Cantina Girlan Pinot Noir "Patricia" 2021 DOC

Cantina Girlan is one of the few winemakers in South Tyrol specialising in grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This has worked out very well and their Pinots are now among the best in Ialtay and probably beyond.

The 2021 vintage is a light translucent red as is typical of a Pinot Noir. The nose is complex, characterised by red fruits such as strawberries and a hint of cherries. Delicate notes of wood, multi-layered. A wine that tempts you to take a sip and the next and next...

Very fine Pinot on the palate, clear and juicy, with balanced acidity. Ripe tannins caress the palate while the cool aroma makes an really elegant impression on the palate. Long finish with a mineral touch.

An elegant wine that pairs well with lighter meats and mature cheeses. Can also be enjoyed on its own, slightly chilled. This fine red wine is very appealing and not just to those who enjoy Pinot Noir.
