Herbes de Provence
Herbes de Provence are derived from French cuisine, and are very popular for use with Mediterranean food. The herbal blends are often compiled differently, but they are always mixed in the following rule: thyme, rosemary, oregano, marjoram and savory. Furthermore, basil, tarragon, fennel, parsley, bay leaf and sage are often added to refine the mixture. The herbs are mixed fresh, dried or preserved and can be used alone or mixed with oils.
