The snow pear tree is as unique and striking as the landscape of the Pöllauer Valley Nature Park. It is an old pear variety with small yieldings, but enormously aromatic fruit and with lots of nutrient density. Werner Retter has been a pioneer in producing this old pear variety for years. With its exquisite juices and noble brandies, the Retter name is known far beyond the borders of the park. Retter has managed to process these high-quality fruits and refine them with amazing technique.

Harvest fresh snow pears are distilled with 100% original snow pear distillate (double distilled) and stored in glass bottles according to the original Ritter liqueur tradition. Perfect after a tasty meal, with blue cheese, tobacco or cigars!
