This salt is produced in the natural salt fields in "SeÄŤovlje Salina Natural Park". The Piran salt consists of many minerals and has an excellent taste. This salt is still harvested by hand. The harvesting equipment is passed on from generation to generation, in a tradition that is now more than 700 years old.
