Description
The most tender leaves are picked during the best harvest time from the traditional tea gardens of Singell and Seeyok.
Every spring, these leaves are picked by hand. The first 8 to 12 harvests after the dormancy break make up the very high quality Darjeeling First Flush tea.
In the cup, the tea looks just like the radiant evening sun on the horizon. Intense floral and honey scents characterise this Darjeeling blend. The characteristic taste is sweet in the beginning, delicately fruity and has a slightly sweet and tart aftertaste.
Tip:
- The tea leaves can be used 2-3 times. In the second infusion, the infusion should be extended to 3 minutes, for the third infusion to extend to 3-4 minutes.
