Naked oats have a very high germination capacity and also have the highest content of calcium and silicon of all gluten-containing grains. Oats reduce the rise in blood sugar levels and are a good source of protein, vitamin B and E, iron and beta-glucans (soluble fiber).
The whole grain naked oats are ideal serving whole or crushed in soups, mueslis, breads or as an oat milk. As sprouts you can also sprinkle them over your salads.
Naked oats do not belong to the spelt family, therefore no peeling is necessary. This means they do not undergo a loss of nutrients.
Preparation: Soak for 2-3 hours in cold water, then boil for 15 minutes . Finally, let stand for 15 minutes to let the grains swell.
