Description
Rice almost always goes well as a side dish with meat and vegetables and is also perfect for in casseroles, as a soup ingredient or salad. The organic long grain rice by Alnatura is pre-cooked (parboiled), which reduces the cooking time to 15 - 20 minutes. In this method, rice grains are treated with steam and pressure before husking. As a result, the nutrients from the husk are driven into the interior of the grain and are largely retained. From organic farming.
Recommended preparation: Boil the desired portion of rice with twice the amount of salted water and simmer on a low heat for 15 - 20 minutes.
