Description
Organic Mikawa Mirin by Arche is a fermented rice liqueur. It is a fantastic ingredient to have on hand in your pantry to add that special umami flavour to a variety of dishes. The complex, traditional fermentation process is important so for the sweet rice liqueur to develop its full range of aromas.
Mikawa Mirin really shows its strengths when added to sauces and marinades - for grilled foods, for example. As a marinade, it not only gives grilled and roasted food a delicious taste, but also a glossy finish.
Tip: Mikawa Mirin can also add a particularly exciting touch to desserts such as in chocolate desserts or in praline fillings. In Asia it is also sometimes served as a liqueur for drinking (alcohol content: 13.6% by volume).
