Arche Naturküche Organic Rice Syrup, 400 g

Ground rice is mixed with water and enzymes and heated to produce this mild, golden-yellow rice syrup. The syrup has a slight caramel, nutty note and contains almost no fructose.

The alternative sweetener is ideal for mildly sweetening desserts, ice cream, cakes and drinks. But you can also add it to savoury dishes such as rice dishes, salad dressings and casseroles to take them to a whole new culinary level. This is mainly due to the fact that rice syrup is only mildly sweet and emphasises the natural taste of the dish itself.

Note: Rice syrup contains more water and is less sweet than refined sugar. If you're using it as a sugar substitute in recipes, you will need to adjust the amount accordingly.
