Beetgold Organic Whole Vegetable Tortilla - Carrot

Pomace is the name given to the fruit or vegetable residues that are left over from the production of juices. Usually these end up in compost or organic waste. But the team at Beetgold had a better, sustainable idea and processed the vegetable pomace into delicious, vegan flatbreads.

The whole vegetable tortillas consist of purely natural and purely vegetable ingredients such as carrot pomace, psyllium husks and olive oil. They're high in fibre, low in carbohydrates, and gluten-free.

The four tortillas in the pack are pre-cooked and can be served cold as a wrap. They can also be briefly heated in a pan before serving with a variety of fillings. The pleasantly mild taste goes well with both savoury and sweet fillings.

Tip: Cut the tortillas into triangular pieces (nachos) and spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 100 °C (top / bottom heat) and bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy these crispy nachos with a dip of your choice.
