Description
This panettone combines the classic sourdough cake from Milan with ingredients from Sicily. This special panettone variety contains no raisins or lemons peels. The particularly aromatic hazelnuts and manna cream come from the Madonie region, a mountain range on the northern coast of Sicily. The tree sap from the manna ash tree is obtained traditionally by hand and processed into a delicious cream. The panettone with this manna cream spread over it is a very special Christmas delicacy combining the flavours and specialities of northern and southern Italy.
