The fleur de sel flakes are obtained from a small salt garden near St. Helena Bay on the West Coast of South Africa. The water for the production comes from a 400-year-old, underground seawater lake. The fine crystal salts are carefully harvested by hand and are carefully sorted. The mild salty and harmonious taste goes well with all dishes.
