For an electrifying tingling sensation on the tongue

Description
This extraordinary pepper is botanically not related to black pepper, but belongs to the citrus plant family and features delightful citrus notes and a lovely citrus fragrance. Freshly ground, the pepper reveals its true flavour and spiciness. On the tongue, it is very tingly and has a slightly numbing effect - due to the chemical compound Sanshool contained in the Szechuan pepper. The pepper also has a significant influence on how other flavours are perceived. This creates a uniquely sensual pleasure experience.
