Description

Traditional Pandoro

  • After the panettone, the Pandoro is the second most popular classic Christmas cake in Italy. The name, which translates as "golden bread", probably comes from the typical golden yellow colour. The colour comes from the eggs used in the batter.
  • In addition to the colour, the octagonal, jagged dome shape is characteristic of the fluffy yeast dough cake. In contrast to the panettone, the cake does not contain raisins or candied fruit and is usually served sprinkled with powdered sugar.
  • Information on storage: Store in a cool, dark and dry place at a maximum of 18 ° to 20 ° C.
Brands: Galup
Origin: Italy
