Description
Shake up your pasta routine! You don't have to have tomato sauce all the time! Especially on warm days, the lemon olive oil in this set offers a tangy, fruity ripe lemon flavour to your pasta. In the colder months of the year, you can use this fun oil to take your taste buds on an Italian summer vacation! And the best thing is: you only need a few minutes to cook this meal!
- Cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, gently heat the olive oil.
- Drain the pasta and toss in the pan with the oil. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese if desired and serve.
For the intense lemon taste, dried lemons have been added not only to the olive oil mixture, but also to the durum wheat dough of the pasta. A characteristic of the Trofie is its shape with the tapering ends, which promises variety on the plate.
