At around 5 months of age, most babies start eating solid foods. The organic Spelt Milk Porridge by Holle makes this transition from breast milk or bottle to solid foods easier and smoother. The unsweetened spelt porridge is particularly easy to digest and is perfect as the first solid evening meal. The ingredients are organic and the whole spelt is additionally from biodynamic agriculture.

Dosage: To make one serving you need 130 ml water and 6 tbsp (40 g) porridge powder. Please note that this amount is only a guideline and the amount consumed by your baby may vary. Especially at the beginning of the weaning period, it is normal for your baby to eat only a few spoonfuls.
Preparation: Please prepare the porridge fresh for each meal - it is ready to eat in a few minutes. Also note the general information on porridge for babies at the end of this page.
- Bring fresh water to a boil and let it cool down to approx. 50 °C.
- Measure out 130 ml and pour it into a cereal bowl.
- Add 6 tablespoons (40 g) porridge powder.
- Mix well to remove all lumps.
- Let it rest briefly. Please be sure to check the temperature of the porridge before you feed your baby. The ideal consumption temperature is around 37 °C.
