Description
Forest honey is a well-known delicacy, however, its origins are less well-known. Little insects, so-called honeydew producers, tap the sap from trees and then excrete valuable honeydew. Hard-working bees collect this delicious natural product which then becomes organic forest honey at Wurzinger.
The taste of forest honey is unmistakably spicy with a mild dry note - ideal for sweetening and adding flavour to hot drinks as well as savoury dishes. Hoeny lovers enjoy it as a spread on bread too.
This forest honey is dark in colour, has a creamy texture and is naturally cloudy.
