The delicious potato gnocchi by Rustichella are ideal as a quick meal in themselves or as a side dish. The cooking time is short, both when cooking water and when frying in a pan.
Note: The gnocchi are suitable for unrefrigerated storage in your pantry.
How to prepare: Bring 3 litres of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and simmer for 2 minutes. When the gnocchi rise to the surface, they are cooked and can be removed with a slotted spoon. Then sautee them in a large, non-stick pan with a little olive oil or butter until they turn golden brown and are slightly crispy. Add halved cocktail tomatoes and sprinkle with a few fresh basil leaves and some grated Grana Padano cheese - a quick and delicious vegetarian meal!
