- Whole peppercorns
- Spicy, earthy flavour
- Versatile use
This very special pepper has many creative uses! The fine taste of the Single Malt Scotch goes well with meat, hearty mushroom dishes and pasta or soups. If you want to give your salad a good kick, then the whiskey pepper is just the right tool. Due to the intense taste, however, make sure you only use the pepper in small quantities. Only through grinding does the pepper really unfold its special, spicy and earthy flavour as well as the fine flavours of single malt scotch. While cooking, it loses its alcohol content, but not its flavour.
How is the pepper made? After adding the peppercorns to the whiskey, the pepper absorbs the whiskey in its shell and the flavour is released when the pepper is ground. This way the intense and earthy aroma of fine Scotch whiskey remains intact.
