Description

Curcuma is one of oldest known spices. For over 4,000 years it has been indispensable in Indian cuisine and medicine. It is almost a fixed component of all curry mixtures. It is obtained from the ground rhizome of the turmeric plant. This organic turmeric powder is cultivated organically in Sri Lanka and processed very gently by hand.

Curcuma has a spicy and earthy flavour that is perfect for classic curry dishes. It ensures the intense yellowish colouring of the dishes.
