Description
The Stay Spiced! Banasura pepper from Kerala (Malabar Coast / India) is truly exclusive: only around 2,000 kg are harvested and carefully sorted by hand each year. Only the largest and best quality peppercorns of this rarity are allowed in the Stay Spiced! jar and packed to seal its aromas.
The Banasura pepper has a very intense bouquet of flavours and goes particularly well with steak, game and pasta dishes. Also wonderful as a finishing spice for a creamy risotto.
How to best enjoy its intense aroma: Always crush the extra-large peppercorns fresh in a mortar just before use or only grind the required amount in a pepper mill. Sprinkle over the dish at the very end of the cooking process or just before serving. It will lose its aroma when added during the cooking process.
