Description
Steirerkraft Premium Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil PGI is obtained from 100% pumpkin seeds from Styria, southern Burgenland and parts of Lower Austria. The seeds are separated from the flesh of oilseed pumpkins, then washed and dried. Once dried, they are ground and mixed with water and salt. Roasting brings out their characteristic aroma before the high-quality oil is extracted using the traditional stamp pressing method and bottled.
With its aromatic and finely nutty flavour, this oil makes an ideal gift for anyone who loves Styrian specialities. It is a classic choice to add to salad dressings and creamy soups, but also tastes surprisingly delicious drizzled over vanilla ice cream.
