Mackerel in Caponata - a typical Sicilian delicacy! Caponata is a traditional Sicilian dish with a sweet and sour taste made with aubergines and tomatoes. The diced vegetables are caramelised and deglazed with vinegar. Caponata is served as antipasti, as an accompaniment to pasta or grilled fish.
The Testa family has been fishing off the coast of Sicily for more than 200 years. The mackerel are fished according to strict animal welfare guidelines and processed immediately - for freshness and quality that is second to none.
