The whole wheat flour by Urkornhof is distinguished by its excellent quality. Wheat bakes very well, and perfect for all kinds of breads and pastries.
Recipe: Potato Bread
- 500 g Urkornhof whole wheat flour
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 teaspoon Urkornhof
- Rock salt
- 3 medium potatoes
- ¼ l buttermilk or cream-water mixture
- butter for brushing
Instructions: Add the whole wheat flour to a bowl, and make a well in the center. Dissolve the yeast in warm buttermilk, and pour the mixture into the flour. Mix into a slightly thick paste.
Let the dough rise for about 15 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and cook them. Mash them until smooth and add salt to taste. Mix into the dough and knead. Fill the dough into a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 15 minutes.
Bake at 200 ° C for about 50 minutes. When the bread comes out of the oven, brush it with butter.
