Description
The Petit Manseng white grape originates from France and is a very low-yielding but high-quality variety. Günter Triebaumer planted a very small number of these vines in Rust, Austria for experimental purposes.
The result is a sweet wine with around 78 g residual sugar paired with a very high, crisp acidity. This is what makes this wine so exciting.
Günter Triebaumer in his own words describing this wine:
Sweet and juicy. And for good reason: with super-spicy, racy acidity with a bold, powerful body, ful-bodied, broad, supple and multi-layered. A wine to chew, like a steak, to slurp, savour and enjoy. With fantastic density and persistence. Unconventional.
