It is unclear whether the "chili con carne" dish originates from Mexico or from the southern United States, but the fact is: it tastes wonderful and has found its way into European kitchens. Chili con carne can be prepared in many different ways. You can use minced or chopped steak for the base, but the vegetarian option made with tofu is also very tasty.
Ankerkraut offers two different types of chili con carne, this is the mild variant with which is more suited to making children happy. Our spice mixture is seasoned with freshly ground South American coffee and offers an exciting alternative to many other blends. If you are very brave, grate in some dark chocolate!
