Bake Affair's baking mixes have been developed to ensure that anyone can make their own baked goods, even if they don't have a lot of baking experience. Make your own "Striezel" sweet bread with this mix! The brioche-like bread is made from the best Austrian ingredients and is lovely for breakfast or with an afternoon cup of coffee.

Fresh ingredients needed:

  • 2 eggs
  • 165 ml milk
  • 40 g butter

Vegan ingredients needed:

  • 150 ml oat milk
  • 40 g vegetable fat


  1. Open the mix and pour it into a large bowl.
  2. Classic recipe: Gently heat 150 ml pf milk (see the milk line in the can) and 40 g of butter in a saucepan until the butter dissolves. Allow the mixture to cool until it is lukewarm, then stir in an egg.
  3. Vegan recipe: Lightly heat 150 ml of oat drink (see the milk line in the can) and 40 g of vegetable fat in a saucepan until the fat dissolves. Let the mix cool down until it is lukewarm.
  4. Add the lukewarm milk mixture to the baking mixture and knead for approx. 4 minutes by hand, with a food processor or with a mixer.
  5. Cover and let the dough rise in the bowl in a warm place (approx. 24 ° C) for 30 - 60 minutes.
  6. Knead the dough and shape it into your desired shape (e.g. rolls or a plaited loaf). Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  7. Classic recipe: After shaping your dough, brush it with an egg wash (1 tablespoon of milk and 1 yolk) and cover it with cling film. Vegan recipe: Cover with cling film.
  8. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 20 - 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven (electric: 180 ° C).
  10. Classic recipe: brush the dough with the egg wash mixture again.
  11. Vegan recipe: brush the dough with water.
  12. Bake the dough at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes.
  13. Remove the dough from your baking sheet and let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
