Description

Easily bake your own spelt bread with this mix! No special baking skills needed! Bake Affair does not use dyes or preservatives in their recipe, only using regional ingredients to ensure top Austrian quality!

It's so easy to bake your bread:

  1. Pour the mix into a bowl and add 450ml of water, Knead the dough well by hand or with a suitable mixer.
  2. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it onto a baking sheet with baking paper.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise again at room temperature for approx. 20-30.
  5. Preheat the oven (for rolls) to 220 ° C (for a loaf) to 230 ° C.
  6. The baking paper can also be coated with water to make the bread even more crunchy!
  7. Score the bread several times with a knife.
  8. Rolls: Bake at 220 ° C (convection ovens) for approx. 12 minutes. Then remove from the the rolls from the baking sheet and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  9. Bread: Bake at 230 ° C (electric) for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 190 ° C and bake again for about 20 minutes. Finally remove the bread from the baking sheet and let it cool for 10 minutes.
