Description
Bebivita Follow-on Formula Based on Cow's Milk 2 is specially developed for bottle feeds as part of a balanced diet including solids. It should not be given as a breast milk substitute (either as the sole source of nutrition or supplement to breast milk) during the first months of life. It is only suitable for babies after 6 months of age. The formulation is precisely tailored to the nutritional needs of this age.
Depending on the individual development of your baby, Bebivita Follow-on Formula 2 may also be offered earlier. However, discuss this with your baby's paediatrician first.
Dosage: Once babies start eating solids, they usually need five meals a day, which should consist of a combination of bottle feeds and solid meals to be eaten with a spoon. The bottle feeds can be gradually replaced by solid meals. How much your baby drinks per meal may vary from day to day. Please orient yourself to the needs of your baby. Refer to the section below to find the correct ratio of water and powder. Always use the measuring scoop enclosed in the pack to measure out the powder (1 level measuring scoop = approx. 4.4 g Bebivita Follow-on Formula 2).

Preparation:
- Freshly boil the required amount of drinking water according to the chart. Allow it to cool down to 40 - 50°C.
- Pour the boiled, cooled water into a clean, sterilised baby bottle.
- Measure out the required amount of powder from the chart with the measuring scoop. Loosely fill the measuring scoop and level it by scraping off any excess with the back of a knife.
- Add powder to the bottle and close tightly.
- Shake vigorously.
- Let it cool down to approx. 37°C (lukewarm).
- Be sure to check the temperature of the formula before you feed your baby!
