Fiasconaro Dolce & Gabbana - Panettone with Sicilian Wine

A panettone like no other! This exquisite panettone comes in an elegant metal box designed by Dolce & Gabbana. The classic Christmas cake from Milan is flavoured with the finest Sicilian ingredients such as candied oranges, lemon peel from Sicilian "Cedro Diamante" and raisins. A brilliant combination of northern and southern Italian cuisine.

But that's not all: The box contains a 30 ml spray bottle with original Sicilian "Terre Siciliane PGI" wine. This fortified wine is known as "vino perpetuo", meaning "eternal wine". This name comes from the special production process where the wine ages "forever" in the same barrel. Whenever some wine is taken out, new wine is refilled at the same time. This mixes with the already matured wine in the barrel, creating a mix of different vintages with an incomparable taste.

This panettone is served in a special way: spray a few pumps of the wine on each piece of panettone and serve.
