Mill & Mortar Candied Roses

Candied roses were one of the sweets favoured at the Hapsburg's royal court and are very popular for decorating confectionary.

These rose petals come from Toulouse, France, where a speciality shop has produced them since 1818. The producer who makes them specialises in candied herbs and flowers.

The flowers have been used for centuries to decorate baked goods, flavour marmalades and add beautiful accents to desserts.
