The Sobrino family from La Morra (Piedmont region) has been dedicated to the miller's trade for over 70 years. Renzo, Margerita and Stefano Sobrino continue to operate the historic wooden mill, where flour is still ground traditionally with natural stone rollers. Loyalty to local farmers and the use of the best quality organically grown grain remain an integral part of the company's philosophy.

Mulino Sobrino offers wheat, rye and spelt flours as well as a range of specialty flours. Such as from ancient grains such as einkorn and kamut as well as oats, barley and rice. they also offer flours in various grind sizes including organic wheat flour type 0 (for white bread) and whole grain rye flour (for dark sourdough bread).
