Österreichische Bergkräuter Organic Lavender Blossoms

These wonderfully fragrant lavender flowers are rich in essential oils. The blossoms have a floral, tart scent and are lovely in tea blends and creamy, sweet desserts.

Lavender Butter Recipe

• Mix 1 teaspoon of the lavender flowers into 125g of room temperature butter.
• For savoury lavender butter, season with salt and the herbs of your choice (like parsley). Enjoy on fresh bread, grilled meat or fish.
• For sweet lavender butter, add 4 teaspoons of honey to the butter mix and serve with scones or sweet yeast pastries.

A little goes a long way! Use sparingly: If you use too many lavender blossoms, your food will have a flavour strongly reminiscent of soap. We recommend tasting your dishes frequently while adding the flowers.
