Description
The Basitom spread by Zwergenwiese is made with smoothly pureed sunflower seeds, fruity tomatoes and fresh basil. It is a flavourful, delicious spread and dip and also perfect for seasoning or refining sauces, soups and other hearty dishes.
Recipe tip: Surprise your guests at the next brunch with this stunningly delicious breakfast soufflé. You will need:
- 3 eggs
- 80 g (= 1/2 glass) of Basitom Spread
- Optional: vegetable oil or baking spray to coat the baking tins
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat (do not use convection oven!).
- Crack open the eggs and separate the whites and yolks.
- Mix the egg yolk and Basitom spread together well.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the yolk and Basitom mixture.
- Grease the baking tins if necessary and fill them 2/3 full.
(Note: the number of soufflés depends on the size of the baking cups.) - Bake the soufflés for 15 minutes until golden brown. Never open the oven before the end of the baking time to prevent the soufflés from collapsing.
- Carefully remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
