Description

The Murray River in southern Australia is one of the longest rivers in the world. It is from this river's saline groundwater that the "Murray River salt" is derived. The Orange Lake, from which the salt is produced, has very high levels of calcium and magnesium. These minerals are also responsible for the apricot coloring of the salt. The Murray River salt flakes are crunchy, very tasty and melt in your mouth like potato chips.
