Description
Tonka beans are the new favourite of top international chefs! Whether they are used in fish dishes or in cakes, this spice has notes of vanilla, almonds, marzipan and caramel that add special touches to many dishes. Just let your creativity run free and try something new. It is best to mix the tonka bean into your dishes using a nutmeg grater. You can also cook one or two beans in one litre of milk and soak them overnight to bring out their flavour.
Please do not eat a whole bean.
