Description
Miso has a tradition going back thousands of years in Japan. The fermented soybean paste adds the much-coveted umami taste to dishes and, depending on the maturity and type, it develops flavours ranging from mildly sweet to strong and spicy.
Onozaki Barley Miso by Arche is made from barley malt and soybeans and is slightly sweeter than Hatcho miso, for instance. The full-bodied barley miso is the perfect seasoning base for meat, rice, fish and vegetable dishes. The miso is also suitable as a spread or for dips and sauces.
Note: Please note that this product is not pasteurised and must be stored in a cool place.
