Description
This intensely fruity dessert sauce is made with black currants. The sauce is made of 60% pure fruit pulp, a little sugar, apple juice and pectin - and nothing else!
The fruit sauce is not too sweet and makes a wonderful topping for mousse or cakes and can be used to make a quick dessert by stirring the sauce into yoghurt or cream cheese.
Tip:
- For a modified version of the popular "Kir Royal" champagne cocktail, add some blackcurrant fruit sauce to champagne, sparkling wine or prosecco and serve as an aperitif.
