Gut Böheim Black Passion

Black passion from Carnuntm is made like port wines.

This red wine blend made from Merlot, Syrah and Blaufränkisch is fortified with brandy during fermentation. This stops fermentation, retaining the natural residual sugar and increasing the alcohol to 18.5% ABV. The wine is then allowed to mature in barrique barrels for at least 12 months.

What comes out is a beguiling liqueur with approx. 60g residual sugar that is very popular! Dark red to black colour in the glass. On the palate, we find many coffee notes with chocolate and ripe dried fruit. The sweetness is harmoniously matched with the delicate acidity. Makes the tongue click and can also be stored for a very long time.

Pairs perfectly with chocolate desserts or as a digestif after a meal.
